The talk was one of the most inspiring things I have seen. It has made me think of the ways I could integrate my 2 lives- my “creative life” (outside of work) and my work life. Which I have always felt a huge disconnect between. I couldn’t see how the two could ever link before and now I can.

Similar to a TED talk but even better. Ana Lucia Jardim made us cry, dance, learn about change management through arts, and even consider leaving everything behind and going to dance for months in Spain.
More than that, in a moment where our society talks mainly about productivity and efficiency through budgets cuts, layoffs, and pushing harder, with no time to rest or "feel", she reminds us how art, music and dance are a common trait in high-performance individuals, Nobel laureates, scientists, etc.
Also, through music and dance, where musicians and dancers feel, sync, and tune into a flow state, adapting to the needs as they appear and letting go of control because all of them know where to go, she taught us how a great team works.

Undoubtedly the most insightful and inspiring talk I've attended in the past few years. Ana Lucia took me through what it felt like an inward journey through my own story.
I was always proud of my background in dance and how I managed to translate multiple of my skills into my tech career. But having someone with 20 years of experience in business and leadership basically "dance it to my face" completely took me by surprise.
It made me think of everything I achieved, but more importantly, of how I can apply my knowledge, experience, and art-business-tech insights even more moving forward. Can't wait to see where this will take me.
Let's keep moving!
